Calm!

Image
Let me hold the time when it had just stopped to rain, When the melted snow shone like the brightest star, When the tidal winds gently hailed the tide-pool beach, While the sea-stacks gazed at its mischievous atrocities. Gazing out of my window, I am thrilled at this marvel, Nothing could compare to the joy when I get to take a step on the shore's marbles. Pushing through the chilly winds, I run on the wet sands and those smooth stones, As fast as I can, as far as I could traverse, To grasp every inch of the happiness I could gather. But, all of a sudden, The ocean waves crossed my heart, Guiding me the right ones to set my sails on. Reminding me that all the things comes full circles. However overwhelming it might seem, it has to get calm!

Breathe!

Image
While running around, We stumbled upon this place. An implicit indulgence many would say. But, little they understood, How gently it soothed the core of the pain. I wonder, sometimes, why do we forget to ease out, Really, its not that difficult to just take a deep breath!

Faith!

Share a dream they have always said, Couple it with efforts they have said, But, little they have mentioned about keeping the faith. Hope is one thread that is all left when, the efforts have been exhausted,  And the situation seems to seep out of hands. When all the  diligence  seems to fall apart. But, why is it so difficult to continue to have faith? To keep going when you know the end of the tunnel is far away? To take the leap of faith irrespective of the situations and notions? To shun the  clutter surrounding the mind? To tear every other criticism that comes our way? I wonder is it because,  we think that we have lost out on our luck? We start building up prejudices against ourselves? We start maligning our own attempts and ultimately have the soul faltered? We start  believing  that we have nothing to offer? We gave up even before reaching the pinnacle? Irrespective of all the passive pessimism I...

Uninhibited!

Image
Walk the streets, alone or with somebody, Soak into the view, Indulge in the architecture, Cherish the stories of the place. Let yourself involve and evolve. Let the winds breeze through your soul, and the playfulness take your core. Put words to emotions, and fill the stories of your book. Set yourself free. Let the dreams turn into ideas, and put the ideas into actions. Let there be an introspection Of inspirations and aspirations. Shun the guards of comfort. Get away from the clutches Of the mundane existences. Set yourself on an exciting journey, Which doesn't have a place for any inhibitions. Let exploring high and low tire you. Stop trying to prove your superiority, Start trying to be a bit more considerate. Stop trying to judge one another. Sing, dance, love or laugh if you must, But, being respectful has never hurt. Embrace the imperfections. Look out, look around, Search for the...

Her Ambiguities!

(Read Part 1 here!) (Read Part 2 here!) -III- Jane had Maya on her phone's speed dial for a while now. Be it discussing the recently read book, any random article, songs, videos or just a small walk, Maya was that one person she loved to talk to. Vividly she remembered her as a reticent self, too shy to talk with. Their's was always a polite and brief conversation, but somehow, Maya's words always made an impression on Jane and she knew, the friendship would last long. Soon she realized, once Maya is in her comfort zone, she could express herself like no-one else. Then it was Jane who would sit and listen all along! Recently, she noticed, Maya was not herself. It felt like something was troubling her and she had no resources to deal with it. Yes, she seemed pretty lost. Unaware of the surroundings, no technical know-how, it felt as if she was just another being wandering according to the people's set of rules. After, a much needed long walk, Maya opened ...

Renaissance!

(Read  Part 1  here!) (Read  Part 2  here!) (Read  Part 3  here!) -IV- Glad he was, that he decided to stop by -  just like that . Happy to let go of the ego they always had. All for the one cup of tea and that torn book they always had, only to realize, that he went away for quite a long!                                                                    ~~~~~~~~ "Hi! Prabhakar here. How are you? I am in town, and, I was thinking if we could meet today? I am leaving tomorrow." Of course  she recognized his voice, how could she forget, if he thought otherwise! "Sure, stop by around 6 pm, I will k...
